TimeSplitters 4 is the tentative title for the latest installment in the TimeSplitters series. The Official Playstation Magazine announced in late June 2007 that TimeSplitters 4 was to be a Playstation 3 exclusive. Any other details about the game, including a planned release date, have not been revealed at this time. In the OPM article, a logo parodying the Gears of War logo was used, consisting of a monkey head in a gear.

Story Mode
Many fans, upon hearing the news, posed the question on how the Story mode would turn out since at the end of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect Cortez stops the war from ever happening. Some specualte the TimeSplitters 4 will have no story mode, other are left to imagine their own speculations. Or maybe what if the Time Crystals weren't all destroyed and a new villain discovers some of the remains crystals and resurrect the TimeSplitters. If it is possible, then there would be unexpecting war coming. Who will this new villain be? A human or something else? Will Sgt. Cortez return to fight again?
