In Autumn 2006 there were rumours that the online service for TSFP was going to be shut along with other games that were loosing their online servers. However this was false as the TSFP servers are still running. Later EA stated that their servers were closing down on the 22nd of July 2007, but they have yet to be shut down even after this date!

TSFP Online

Much criticism has been directed towards EA from fans dissappointed with the online mode of TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. Whilst EA provided statistics both on the console and from the website, the ranking system was frequently hacked by cheaters which EA failed to deal with despite much protest. EA also failed to deal with notorius cheaters such as SnaBo, with stat-hackers (ironically) ranking multiple accounts at the top of the list so that SnaBo was no longer #1.
