Underneath the bed

You shove the dynamite under the bed. Too late, you realize that it's already lit. The bed explodes. The force of the explosion flings you into a wall and you're knocked unconscious.
When you wake up, the bed is in ruins and the walls, floor and ceiling are scorched. Brenda and Dào-míng are both lying on the floor. A quick check of their pulses reveals that they're out, but they're still breathing.
