You reach in your purse and pull out a silver bracelet, which you are pretty sure Kaya was given by her mom just before leaving England. Yulia looks at you with a mix of surprise and embarrassment.

"Oh, that looks expensive. I can't take that."

"It's okay. I've had it for a while and want you to have it. After all, we're not just friends are we?"

Yulia's eyes begin to tear up as she stands up and gives you a hug. "I can't believe you're being so good to me. I...I think I love you."
