Push your bed out the door...

You decide to grapple with your bed in an attempt to shove it out the open doorway. It's hard to move around in such a small space and the bed is sort of heavy, but you finally manage to get it on its side directly in front of the door. You notice that the floor is cracked all over in the spot your bed used to be covering, and the displacement of the bed's weight seems to be making the cracks increase in number. That looks dangerous! What should you do with the bed?
