Head back the way you came

Things were bad enough before. At least back in the lab you had more space for running. Rather than face the growling thing in such a cramped and ill-lit space, you head back... only to find that the wall has slid shut, leaving you trapped in a dead end.
Do you:
- Pound your fists against the closed wall
- Lie down on the floor and whimper
- Go back to face the growling thing
