File Island

File Island is the setting for the original Digital Monster toy (also known as the V-Pet), the Devimon arc of the anime, Digimon Adventure, and the video game titled, Digimon World. It is located in D-World Gamma, a little off the coast of the Server Continent, and, according to the anime, during Devimon's first attack on the Chosen Children, he split the island into several islets in order to separate them. However, the island was reformed after the Black Gears on each islet were destroyed.

After Apocalymon was defeated, D-World Gamma began reformatting, starting with File Island and spreading outward.
