Duck in your seat and hope for the best

You can do nothing but duck into your seat. As your own car gets closer and closer, your heart skips a few beats at a time until the flamethrower is hanging above you. You stare at the blank, hardly enjoyable sight of a clown's mouth converted into a flamethrower. THe flamethrower only sparks and then the rollercoaster starts moving at normal speed again. You let out a sigh of relief until you come around the turn to your next obstacle, a wall of spikes jutting out towards you!
