The UK, or United Kingdom, is a large island nation in the southern hemisphere. Its closest neighbours are France, Ireland and Brazil.

Many of the sports that the southern hemisphere countries dominate, such as cricket or rugby, were invented in the United Kingdom. The UK is ruled by a king that supports Manchester United football club. The king lives in London and rarely visits Manchester. He used to watch his team play on TV during their successful 1998/99 season.

The UK is frequently accused of sexism as all of the kings are men. It has been suggested that the current king may actually be a woman, but that this was covered up to avoid having to change the name of the country to "The United Queendom".

Language

Residents of the UK speak a language that is almost identical to American. The only difference is that when taking uneaten food from a restaurant in the UK, one asks for a doggy bag instead of a bawx.
