Personality
Arrogant but extremely charismatic, Membrane is a man that people either love or love to hate. He oozes charm, but his ego usually gets the better of him. He's a know-it-all, and was extremely wealthy and famous in his own alternate timeline, so he doesn't take kindly to being corrected.

History
Membrane grew up in a big city as an extremely quirky kid. He was a child prodigy who excelled in academics, particularly science, and cycled through school quite quickly. He started his own lab at 23, and eventually built it up to be an empire that he alone ruled. He also had the perfect wife and kids...though it ended up being not so perfect when his tragedy struck, taking his wife away in a terrible lab accident. He ended up storing her remains in a jar and moving on in life, continuing to strive in the scientific field.
Eventually, he became the richest man in the world thanks to his various inventions, cures, and, of course, his television show. He even received the title "the man whom without this world would fall into chaos". His life was absolutely perfect...until the day he was thrown through the flux-gate and into a nightmare.
