One of twins, Kaoru shares a good deal of personality traits with brother - they enjoy playing games pranks and tricks, often as a way of teasing one of their older classmates, although Kaoru's ill-intentions in these games are one level less than his brother's.
He is fiercely protective and loyal to his friends, but is merciless to those he and his brother deem beneath them, though there are less and less of those these days.
Although Kaoru is more emotionally mature of the two, and tries to solve his own and his brother's problems. He tends to over think them and will often resort to various contrivances to resolve them, rather than face them head-on.

Kaoru can make clothes and speak English, and he's pretty good at causing trouble, though he doesn't make a habit of it. He doesn't really have any serious powers or abilities, but with his brother he can pull off a mean twincest act (or is it?!).

Kaoru was born a minute after his brother Hikaru, and, with their parents often away on business, the two have always lived their lives side-by-side, never spending an extended amount of time apart. As such, the two are deeply secure in their relationship with one another, and have essentially shaped one another - they deliberately distanced themselves from others until their final year of middle school. After being approached by an older student to establish a club, their world gradually began to widen, and gradually they began to accept others as their friends.
There's not much to say about Kaoru. He's just an average boy, with an average family and average friends, living an average life. Except for the fact that his family is extremely rich, and his after school activity has him working in a Host Club, termed by many as a Male Harem.
