Personality
Always offering a smile when needed but slightly ditzy as she lacks street smarts. Can often be considered a spaz but more so just doesn't know any better. She always wants to defend her friends and those she'll befriend she'll protect no matter what. Especialy Tatsuki, Ichigo, Ishida, Chad and Rukia.
Powers and Abilities
Orihime's power manifests itself as the Shun Shun Rikka (Six Flowers of the Hibiscus Shield; Six Princess Shielding Flowers in the English anime), six fairy-like creatures that reside in her hair-clips (shaped like six-petaled flowers, each fairy is two points on a given clip) when inactive. Through various combinations of the six fairies, Orihime has the power to reject fate by denying or undoing events in various forms. This power can be used for attack, defense, or healing (depending on the combination). Orihime's mood directly influences the effectiveness of her powers. Feelings like doubt or worry make them weaker, while conviction makes them stronger. At their height, her powers resemble those of a deity in strength.
Orihime's powers initially manifested during the duel between Ichigo and Ishida while trying to protect her friend Tatsuki from Numb Chandelier. She was trained by Yoruichi Shihouin in their usage before attempting to rescue Rukia Kuchiki from being executed in Soul Society. Curiously, Orihime's spiritual energy and powers resemble those of the vizard Hachigen Ushōda. Orihime mainly functions in a healing capacity, due to the nature of her powers. Despite her ability to inflict lethal damage, she is a pacifist and will only harm opponents to save someone's life.
History
Orihime is a type of soul who is always there to offer a smile when someone needs it. Often labled as a ditz she does indeed hold some kind of qualification to book smart rather than street smarts.
Her best friend is Tatsuki Arisawa and she's friends with many others like Ichigo, Ishida, Chad and RUkia but due to her, large chest, Orihime tends to get the attention of some of the other boys who just hace little school boy crushes on her. Another friend of hers is madly in love with her, Chizuru, but is often kicked or punched far out of the way by Tatsuki.
When Orihime was little, her brightly coloured hair offered her up as a target and some of the kids even went as far as to bullying her and cutting her hair. It was because of Tatsuki and her friendship [and often training] that Orihime was able to grow her hair long again. And for that she has Tatsuki to thank for, offering to protect her forever.
Orihime has weird taste in food that ends up making others almost to the point of physical illness. Her favorite is red bean paste.
She tends to have a habbit of running into things without assesting the situations first, unlike the others. In Soul Society in the hunt to get RUkia back, she ambused two Shinigami and beat them up for their uniforms so that she and Ishida can wander through the city without any harm or without drawing too much attention to themselves.
She's known to harbour a huge crush on Ichigo Kurosaki. Admiting before being taken captive by Aizen [for her use of the Rejection technique] that she loved him. Ulquiorra gave her the chance to see one and only one person before he took her, and Ichigo was that person despite him being KOed from a previous battle.
Relationships
Tatsuki: Her best friend. She's actually rather glad that Tatsuki fell into this world with her. Back home Orihime was already taken captive by Aizen and his followers which saddened her to think that she couldn't hold her promise to protect her best friend. She's seen Tatsuki around with Reno and often thinks they're in love, despite the two of them never admiting it yet to one another. She hopes that Tatsuki is one day a beautiful bride.
Dante: He ended up falling into the world with Orihime, there to witness her thinking that everything was just a dream and not registering at all that she was with her first naked man. Upon the relization that this wasn't her world she took a quick shine to Dante since he was there to calm her down when the guards were questioning them. After the infamous water incident, she ended up meeting Dante at his apartment which ended with them having physical relations that lead to him actually asking her to be with him. Since then she's always glad to see him around or even smile or just wave at her. She's fallen completely in love with him, glad that her heart's slowly getting over Ichigo.
She often thinks she's not good enough for him, given his physical apperance is outranking hers by a million to .00001, and because of that feels insecure . She had even told Lady that if Dante was to ever cheat on her she'd probably sit at home and wait for him to return due to how in love with him she's in.
When Urahara appeared in the world, she had every mind to flee back to their own world [should he figure out how to return them] because before Urahara came Nero. She thought Nero was Dante's son from a woman back in his world and thought he should return to at least be with his child. After he told her about that [that he had no idea who Nero was] Dante told her he would return with her to her world. She's still as deeply in love with him as she has been from day 1.
Roxas: Her room mate whose relationship seems to go up and down. He can make her smile but at the same time he can easily make her cry. Roxas has told her that he doesn't have a heart which she finds this hard to believe. She's taken it upon herself to make Roxas happy [as she can] and if she wasn't so in love with Dante she thinks she may have a crush on him.
Lady: Her sisterly type person that is apparently close to Dante. She helps give her advice about Dante and before then Orihime even told her to throw her pride out and confess to Kanda. She thinks it worked since they're together. She fought along side her in the Charon battle.
