Shropshire class guided missile destroyer (DDG)
The Shropshire class destroyers (4 operated between 1980 and 2007) were Australian versions of the powerful Kidd class Guided Missile Destroyers.
Murray class destroyer (DDH)
The Murray class helicopter destroyers (4 operated between 1979 and 2006) were helicopter versions of the Spruance class. Designed for Anti-Submarine Warfare, they carried 3 Sea King (later 4 Seahawk) helicopters, and Ikara.
Perth class guided missile destroyer (DDG)
The Perth class guided missile destroyers served the Royal Australian Navy between 1965 and 2001. They saw combat in Vietnam.
Daring class destroyer (DD)
The Daring class destroyers served the Royal Australian Navy between 1957 and 1982. They saw combat in Vietnam.
