You leave Blue with instructions for Syn to plot a course to Vendaxa, and head to your passengers' temporary cabin. The Twi'lek is there alone, sitting primly on the edge of Deliah's bed. She looks up nervously as you enter.
"Hey there. White-and-Streaky gone for a walk?"
"The Princess is using the refresher station," the girl replies smartly.
You raise an eyebrow. "Princess, huh? That explains it, then. So, what's her deal?" You flop down on the bed next to the Twi'lek, who edges away.
"The Princess and I need to reach Vendaxa."
"Yeah, but what're you running from?" you ask, and though the girl refuses to answer, you see the fear shining in her wide eyes. You put your arm around her, despite her obvious reluctance. "Hey, don't worry. We're not gonna throw you out the airlock, cheeka." She seems to find little comfort in that. "Although, you haven't paid us yet..."
"The Princess said you'll get your credits when we--"
"When we get to your buddies on Vendaxa, yeah, I know." You budge closer to the girl, who has nowhere else to go. "But, y'know, we're a principled crew, pateesa. We've gotta be sure your Princess can deliver what her mouth promises." Your hand starts moving along the girl's arm.
"What do you mean?"
You lean in with a low voice. "Collateral, sweets. A down payment. Like I said, we've gotta keep our principles."
The girl looks contrary. "What kind of... payment?"
You simply grin, and reach up to gently flick the Twi'lek's dangling lekku with your thumb. She shivers at the touch. Her species' head-tails are well-known to be erogenous zones, and though touching one in such a casual manner isn't exactly tantamount to jumping into her lap, it gets the message across loud and clear.
"You're a pirate!" she says, but you stroke her lekku again, and she seems to quieten down, if only for a moment.
"Just trying to make my way in the universe, darlin'," you respond, applying more pressure and explicitly fondling her head-tails. She closes her eyes.
