Nex Kataam

Nex Kataam, also known as the slingshot sector, is home to the very first x-hole ever found. Originally drawn to its lush and fertile planet from which the sector gets its name; settlers became explorers when they found the mysterious wormhole-like phenomenon. Suddenly findong themselves half-way across the galaxy, those brave early explorers set up very profitable trade routes. This marked the beginning of the golden age for Kataam as industry, fueld by the x-hole, developed wildly. Alas, this was not to last. There came a day when strange creatures labled only as 'x-hole monsters' emerged from the openeing and lay waste to everything they could consume - only to vanish again soon after. Currently, Kataam is an agricultural world known for its fertile plains and plentiful resources.
