The Soccer War is a book by Ryszard Kapuściński about the Soccer War fought between Honduras and El Salvador in 1969. The book actually covers other conflicts of the time as well, and in my humble opinion, in a slightly fuzzy and unorganized way. However, when Kapuściński really heats up with his writing, the end result is excellent.
