Norinco is a Chinese state-owned company manufacturing a wide range of defence products. In the west the company is known as the manufacturer of cheap and sometimes sub-quality copies of various western and russian arms. Especially popular among Norinco's products are the semi-automatic Chinese-made copies of the AK-47 assault rifle, which are sold at a considerably smaller price when compared to original rifles of the design.
