Quite possibly one of the best RPG's ever made. I'd put this one on the top three of all time best RPG's, since the game is just brilliant in so many ways. They should prepare a remake out of this one, since the only thing to really bitch about are the graphics - which quite frankly are still in the SNES-era.

I don't know what's the mesmerizing effect of FFVII, but I'd guess that it has something to do with fantasy being able to be mixed successfully with Scifi. The game is definately worth a play - several ones, in fact. I've been trying to hunt for the PC-version of this game for a few years now, but it seems that the owners have understood the pure gold in their hands and are thus refusing to sell.
