Background
Wealth, Politics, and Scandal. Triton City was your typical oasis in Southern California. Located in San Carlos County, between San Diego and Los Angeles, Triton City was a bright shining beacon for the wealthy business owners, giving Triton City a booming commerce rivaling New York City with all the benefits of a wealthy Pacific Coast setting like La Jolla, Carmel, or Montecito.
Triton City was a city where the class system ruled all; and where you shopped, what you drove, and who you were made all the difference. The city was grand, ahead of its time, and fit for disaster. With tension between classes, the upper class, the lower class who worked for the upper class, and the dwindling middle class, scuffles were unavoidable. Yet, this was only the tip of the ice berg.
The year is 2007 and it has brought more than great net profits. It has brought mutants. People are exposing abnormalities they have lived with or recently discovered and they are met with prejudice. Locked up and contained in "asylums," these people, dubbed mutants, must keep their power a secret. They must keep quiet as politicians decide what to do with "them" and the mutants decide what to do with the politicians.
Triton City is one such city plagued by mutants. Such a socially charged city, what will mutants add to the mix? Triton City Really Is... Anything But Ordinary.
