You have made a wise choice as it is always better to choose the lesser of two weevils.
You are now faced with by a large man standing in front of a wooden door. The man is holding a reed (possibly bamboo) writing implement in one hand, and a sword in the other.
"You may have either one of these items, at no charge, but be warned. After you choose, you must face two hungry lions in the room behind me."
