The JavaScript here used to move the ads from the bottom of the content area into the footer. But something bit rotted and now they end up over the tabs at the top (see the screenshot below). As a quick fix, I commented out that function.
The orignal reason for the move was to avoid the ads hanging off the side of the page (see second screenshot) and it looked cleaner that way. Until I get it fixed again, it'll just have to be like that (at least there, it doesn't break site functionality).
