Dwarves used to be normal, but Feldarin arriving caused them to take up a mercenary lifestyle: The dwarves used to live deep within the mountains, but with the wars that the Feldarin brought with them, ended up venturing out in large armies. Now the dwarves have small mountain fastnesses where non-combatants live, while the main of the clan roams around looking for mercenary business.
