-	If you receive a copy of an intervention letter from a client, please start by checking the reference number at the top of the page, and clicking through to the corresponding page in the wiki, following the links below. Then edit the page by clicking on the ‘edit’ tab at the top of the page. If you are careful not to remove any of the characters such as asterisks and hash signs which the system uses to control the way the page looks, you do not even need to understand how it works, but clicking on the ‘editing help’ link near the bottom of the page will explain the few simple layout rules that you need to know.	+

-	When you have edited the page so that it reflects the letter you have received, click on ‘Show Preview’. This will show how the page is going to look, with your editing panel still available further down. Make any further changes you need to, and click ‘Save page’.	+

-	That’s all there is to it, and it really is even simpler to do than it is to explain. If something goes catastrophically wrong, just click ‘Cancel’ or simply close the window. If you find that your mistakes have been saved and you are not an experienced wiki user, email us and we’ll sort it out! Once we know that the letter has been recreated in full we will 'lock' the page so it cannot be altered.	+

Each page also has a ‘discussion’ tab, which opens a separate page that can also be edited just like the original. Use these to discuss the type of clients who have received the letters, how you have responded, or (if you have corrected a letter previously entered by someone else) why the correction was needed.

You don’t need to create an account to edit the pages, so your corrections can be entirely anonymous. We reserve the right to block contributions from particular internet addresses if we get ‘vandalism’, though it seems unlikely that we will have to do so.

Please look at the reference on the top of the letter and then navigate to the right page, starting with the links below. Note that if the reference is ENB then it is NOT an intervention letter - it is one of the older style Enabling letters, which we have now reproduced separately - click on the link to check that is what you have received, and then click on the discussion tab to explain who received it, etc.
