ザ・ワルド, an Engrish term meaning "the world", are mentions of real world things in My Immortal, such as Time Stones, magical time-bending gems seen and collected in Sonic CD, a video game. Other mentions of ザ・ワルド include, but aren't limited to: Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, pop singers and actresses, 50 Cent, a rapper known for his hit "In the Club", Paris Hilton, socalite, hotel chain heiress and jailbird, Matry McFly and the Delorean from the Back to the Future movies and Apple's iPod. Ironically, technology, such as the aforementioned iPod and Delorean, doesn't work in Hogwarts, and as such are deemed worthless. although one could use the Time Stones to warp to the past and future at will.
