The picture in the corner, which can be seen by being logged in or by clicking on the member name. Many lurkers originally joined so that they could see avatars, but were immediately horrified when they found out what certain highly talked about avatars, such as the X-Batch, really were. While some users tend to change their avatars, others (such as Mike) tend to keep theirs constant.
