Paul Henry Ossy is a Detroit multi-instrumentalist. He plays violin on "I'm Bound to Pack It Up" and electric violin on "Why Can't You Be Nicer to Me?", both from De Stijl. Ossy currently plays with the Detroit band XD WEI, which was formed in 2006 from the ashes of "alt-chamber" trio WEI. He plays mandolin, woodwinds and percussion with the group, who somehow fuse traditional Eastern music and erhu mastery with elements of Western folk and rock. Paul also plays or played with the fairly obscure band Catalyst.
