Bob

Bob is a merchant who runs an emporium of humble appearance but vast resources in Zoa. Anything a person could want, Bob can get, or else he knows a reputable provider. He is well connected, a source of information on current and historical events, and a relative of countless useful and helpful individuals. Bob is always friendly, his deals are honest, and his prices are the best to be found anywhere.

Paul, captain of the sailing ship the Forsaken, is Bob's brother. Pete, a Zoan innkeeper, is Bob's cousin.

Quests

The heroes recently showed Bob an ancient book they'd found but couldn't read. He identified the language as Ancient Zoan (which he is able to read), and in the process of translating the book, he discovered clues to the existence of a treasure located near the crypt where the book was found. In return for a percentage of the wealth, he has hired the heroes to seek the treasure. (See Treasure of the Hiereeds.)
