The Adder Unobtrusive makes a Mental Power completely imperceptible to its target, for a cost of +15 Points.
This rule modifies Adders for Mental Powers, Hero System Fifth Edition Revised page(s) 120.

Characters may purchase a new Adder for Mental Powers, Unobtrusive. Use the following information.

UNOBTRUSIVE

A Mental Power with this Adder is imperceptible to its targets. The target of an Unobtrusive Mental Power does not perceive that he has been attacked with a Mental Power, nor can he identify the attacker or locate the point of origin of the Attack. He still receives the usual chance to break free from the effect of a Mental Power, but this effort is entirely subconscious. Making a Mental Power Unobtrusive costs +15 Character Points.

A note on the logic behind this: Normally, a "mentalist can prevent a target from knowing he's been attacked with a Mental Power by achieving a +20 effect on his Effect Roll" (Hero System Fifth Edition Revised, p119). On average, 6d6 of the Power will roll 21 points on the Effect Roll, which is enough to achieve this goal. Therefore the cost of Unobtrusive is based on 6d6 of the Mental Power (30 Active Points), (Only to prevent the target from being aware of the attack, -1). Total cost: 15 Points.
