Gender: Male
Nation: Illyria
Rank: Lieutenant
Age: Formerly 28, Now unknown
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 132 lbs, 168 lbs with armour.
Class: Enforcer Level 5
Personality:
Angantyr, being a morph, tends not to show emotion at all. However, his speech patterns from his living days remain unchanged, and he bears the same silent grin upon his face. As most enforcers are, he tends not to speak unless spoken to, and is "programmed" in a sense to do the Highlords bidding, and the Highlords bidding only. Occasionally he will accept jobs from General positions in the army, but it is very rare, and only happens if the Highlord bids it so. His body still retains the memory of what it's like to be human, and also retains other necessary memories for spy work. Angantyr has more freedom than most morphs, and can slightly imitate being a human. (much like ephidel or limstella from FE7) He walks silently, and quickly, and almost as if he were a robot, he prioritizes his missions and looks for the best possible outcome, although, he puts success of the mission above the lives of others.
Appearance:
Standing only 5'11" high, Angantyr is a man with astonishing physical strength and speed. Not nearly as quite as powerful as a juggernaut, he shows the uncanny physical fitness of a morph being. He is well toned, and has intense endurance. This is mainly due to him being a morph experiment. His skin is almost dead pale, and has the trademark golden eyes of a morph. His hair is is dark black, as is the Illyrian custom. He wears a large mantle, underneath which is plated steel armour, custom fit to his body, softer at the joints, so as not to limit movement. On his arms, he wears plated steel armlets and shoulder pads, of which do not cover his elbow area. On his waist he wears a steel tasset, overtop of standard black combat pants. His knife, the "Thorn of Conviction”, is strapped to the side of his right leg. Angantyr generally keeps his mantle on, so as to conceal his weapons. His boots are made of leather, so as not to promote noise, however, from the ankles up, his the boots are made of hard leather, so as to protect his movement.
Biography:
Angantyr, the last of the Ernincell bloodline, was an only child his entire life. His parents had tried to have more children, of which only resulted in miscarriages. His father, an honorable soldier, died and was morphitized a few years after Angantyr joined the army himself. Angantyr could not believe the news when he heard it, and vented his frustration with anger. His mother, soon died of heart failure, and was buried in the imperial cemetery. For years, he trained, and made himself stronger, raising in the ranks of the army. One night, after barely completing an assassination mission against a tough band of Illyrian rebels, he was wandering around in the wilderness, wounded. Coincidentally, one of the lesser troops also assigned called the capital for reinforcements. The highlord, wishing to test the limits of his newest enforcer, had sent him out to the area as back up. That enforcer's orders were incomplete however, and he took the Highlord’s words quite literally. It was not too unexpected, even Angantyr believed he was going to die. The enforcers orders were as follows, "You are to kill anyone you see in that camp.". As the last survivor of that fight, Angantyr was the only one left in that camp. The enforcer attacked him ruthlessly, and Angantyr did not have so much as second to apply healing items or even rest to catch his breath. Under an extreme disadvantage, he exchanged blows with the enforcer, realizing his only way to come out alive was to kill him. With a lucky shot, he struck off the enforcer’s hood. The enforcer was, his father, long transformed from what his original form had been. Anger shot through all of Angantyr's veins, and he no longer felt the pain of the wounds decorating his body. He seemed to fight better, if for only a minute, and with a lucky slip up on behalf of his morphed father, he slew him with a quick slash, completely severing his head.
From there, he collapsed. He awoke days later, a wanted man from the army. With the mass amount of morphs lying around, he could do nothing but wait to be caught. Surprisingly alive still, he wandered into a town, beaten up, and barely able to stand. Two morphs had caught him, and he was powerless to resist. It was quite astounding to believe that an almost unnamed soldier, could defeat an Enforcer of the Illyrian army. Not to mention with all the wounds he sustained from his mission beforehand. The Highlord, seeing how useful the man could be, gave him a chance. He was given the choice between becoming an enforcer like father, while retaining memories, or becoming a mindless morph. Attempting to keep himself preserved for as long as possible, Angantyr chose the first option. He was killed, morphed, and after many weeks, was trained and transformed into the Enforcer he is now. Angantyr is now at the lieutenant level in the army. He still retains his memories, but one could tell from a glance he is no longer human. His strength has exceeded what it was before he became a morph by a longshot, and now he is a warrior worthy of only the Highlord's commission.
