Kaeldarian Religion

Dai'ka

Dai'ka is Kaeldar's Government, Religion, and Leader, all rolled into one. He is a demi-god, who appeared in the Isles years ago, worshiped by the tribes all across the isles. When Endal invaded, he fell back and hid, still worshiped by the peoples of the isles but with no real power. However, once they left, he had all the power. The tribes worshiped him still, listening to every word he said. Many of the former Endalis, however, did not.

This is why he started the Peacekeepers, his personal troops who would enforce his law and keep the peace among the more civilized people of the isles. Anyone who refused to worship or listen to Dai'ka were killed, and everyone else listened out of sheer fear. Thus, everyone on the isles worships Dai'ka as a God, and his word is the law of the land. Anyone who breaks his law or worships a different entity shall perish by the hands of his Peacekeepers.

Religion

The religion of Dai'ka is simple. Dai'ka was always and will always be. He created everything, and named it Elibe. He was displeased with his Dragons, and thus caused the Scouring. Later, he was displeased with what his world turned into, so he caused the Sundering to recreate it, naming his new creation Maris. Soon, he believed he should be closer to his creation, so he took physical form and fell to the isles, where his perfect beings were located. He became their God Emperor, and they would follow him to the death.

The Typical Kaeldarian

Complexion and Appearance

Skin: For the Endali-Kaeldarians, slightly tanned. For tribal Kaeldarians, extremely tanned, though varying from extremely dark in the less forested areas to tan in the deep forests.

Hair: Primarily black, with some dark browns, even getting to regular brown in the less-forested areas.

Eyes: Hazel, Brown.

Height: Kaeldarians are giants by most standards, their average men standing at 6'5". Their average warriors stand at about 6'10", and their women stand at about 6'.

Armor/Dress: The civilized Kaeldarians wear somewhat Endali clothing with a touch of their heritige here and there. Tribal Kaeldarians wear very little but a loincloth. Armor for average soldiers is always just enough to protect the wearer, but keep movement completely unhindered.

Background:Civilized Kaeldarians work most of the day, either mining or farming. There is very little formal education there, and most are content with physical labor to earn money and food. They live in huts and small houses, with the former Endalians having the best living conditions. They have enough food thanks to the plentiful stock of animals within the forests, and the plentiful hunters.

Tribal Kaeldarians live in huts, get no education, and have no rules among themselves besides what Dai'ka says.
