"The Cubicle" or "The Office" was an office within an office. A home away from home. This small nook, situated with two humble desks, some chairs, a lamp and some dusty books, was a spot of forced meditation for many during detention, but was also a sared place of study, debate and friendly discussion for others. Located to one's left as they passed the left side of Mrs. Fincher's desk, this small garden of isolation was recognized by few, but thoroughly appreciated by the handful of those who knew its merits.

For the 2005-2006 school year, "The Cubicle" has been decorated with Asian art and appears much more airy and aesthetically pleasing than previously. Assistants of the college counselors frequent it. "The Cubicle" has clearly lost its magic.
