The snack bar was built to provide some small amount of income to the SMES parent-teacher foundation, with the intention of selling warmed over Costco treats to students at sharp mark-ups. However, this plan failed to consider the unerring dedication of Elsa Sale. Elsa made it her mission to create at the Field of Dreams a world class eatery featuring French Bread Pizza, Giant Soft Pretzels, and countless other delicacies. Decoration was elaborate as well with color coordinated tables and chairs, and carefully selected umbrellas.
