Cozean is famous for showing pictures of his long backpacking trips through Yosemite and the Sierra Nevadas. On all of the walls of his room, there are pictures of his much publicized journeys. Also, Cozean recently got two dogs, which he never brought to class, despite Tiffany Huang's pleas

In a complete surprise to the student body, Cozean redeemed himself in the 2003-2004 school year by replacing the sound of the bell tone with "Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead."
