GROUP Centigrade

From Step Institute

Group Centigrade choose to "Walk in the direction that a satellite dish is facing..." and that we did. During a pleasant walk, in the direction the satellite dish lead us, we kept our eyes peeled for a source of greenhouse gas. It wasn't long before we were given a great example of a source of greenhouse gases. The soil! Soil is a very large source of terrestrial respiration contributing significant amounts of CO2 to the atmosphere.

Group Centigrade was asked to go towards something that smells pleasant.

So, off we went! We headed towards a wonderful bed of flowers.

While there, we found an excellent example of scientific progress. We noticed that the satellite dish had totally changed direction in just a few minutes! Because the satellite dish was moving, we could conclude that scientific work was in progress.
