EDITOR'S NOTE: this is one of the first CoD-related documents; Jason's ideas on how the various techniques created for the CoD team members might function. It's ridiculously imcomplete and omits Amy entirely (she wasn't added until the Golden Age was coming to an end and Bill wanted a new character), but it's being put here for historical amusement and possibly actual reference if the game is ever made in some sort of custom engine.



Stuffage (Note: attacks with a * can be used on multiple targets at the same time with lesser effects) (Note: attacks with a & always attack all targets)


JASONIAN

Weapons: PSI Rods (Jasonian always attacks with PSI Force, but the power of the rod he has as a

weapon increases the power of the attack)
PSI Rod - found in Jasonia Palace.
Eonite Rod - given to party by LightEning
Corps Rod - AIN empath focusing weapon
Dome Rod - Human-made weapon containing vast PSI energy

PSI: (all use up Jasonian's PSI strengh)

PSI Sharpen - increases attack power of an ally's normal attacks (swords, laser swords, clubs, darts only)
  • PSI Spark - weak fire magic
PSI Needle - strong attack that can get through enemy shields
PSI Harden - increases defence of a party member from normal psychical attacks
  • PSI Cure - increase HP of a party member
  • PSI Blaze - stronger strong fire magic
PSI Shield - increases defence of an ally or himself from magic attacks
  • PSI Soul - revivies an ally
  • PSI Inferno - strongest fire attack magic


BILL3000

Weapons: Swords

Imperial Sword - found in Jasonian's Imperial house.
Alloy Sword - found in the factory. 
Slayer - found in the GAPR. Bonus against living enemies.
Bill's Sword - found in Bill's house in Thassala
Biter - found in the jails in 1500 AD
Corps Sword - sword of elite AIN ground forces
Dome Sword - powerful sword of destruction

Techs:

&Twister - Bill spins around attacking all enemies

Fire Sword - causes a party member's weapon to do fire damage (swords, laser swords, clubs, darts only)
Curse - lower's defence of an enemy
  • Cure - increase HP of a party member
Slash - power physical attack on one enemy

&Hurricane - stronger all enemy attack

  • First AID Kit- Revives an ally

&Fire Twister- spinning fire magic attack around attacking all enemies &Block- Bill absorbs damage from other party members for 3 turns, ends early if Bill faints


MATT64

Weapons: Laser Swords

Tapfer Laser Sword (green) - starts with when he joins the group
Jasonian Laser Sword (pink) - found in Jasonia palace. Small chance of deflecting projectile attacks.
Eonite Laser Sword (orange) - created by Matt when you get the Eonite rock. Increases Matt's special attack.
Corps Laser Sword (red) - special issue AIN weapon 
Dome Laser Sword (blue) - refugee weapon to block lasers. Medium chance of defelcting projectile attacks.

Techs:

Laser Sword - launch the blade off of the sword at an enemy
  • Shake - weak earth magic
Fury Swipes - slash one enemy 2-4 times (each slash is weak)

&Boomerang Sword - toss sword around, damaging all enemies

Haste - lowers time for a party member between attacks
  • Rumble - stronger earth magic
Avalanche - Strong one enemy Earth magic

&SuperQuake - Strong All enemy Earth magic

Duel - 1-hit KO, low accuracy (doesn't affect Bosses much)


AI

Weapons: Arm Cannons

Plasma Gun - starts with when he joins the group
Mauler - found in the GAPR. Increases attack greatly.
Corps Laser Gun - powerful long-range weapon of AIN operatives
Heavy Plasma Cannon - standerd issue weapon for UEC robots

Techs:

HyperNet Beam - steals some enemy HP and adds it to AI's life
Scan - reveals the amount of HP an enemy has remaining
Rapid Ray Gun - fires 2-4 lasers at an enemy (each laser is weak)
  • Energise - increase HP of a party member
  • Volt - weak electric magic
SuperScan - reveals the amount of HP and MP an enemy has remaining
RoboArm - Strong one enemy attack
  • Thunder - Strong electric magic
Explosion - 1-hit KO on an enemy, low accuracy


EMPRESS

Weapons: Dart Guns

Emperor Dart Gun - starts with when she joins the group
Bill's Sidearm - found in Bill's house in Thassala
Corps Dart Gun - easily concelable weapon of AIN spies
Dome Dart Gun - rail-gun accelartion tube for various darts

Techs:

Knife Slash - powerful non-projectile attack. Does double damage if PSI Sharpen is used on Empress
Sleep Dart - knocks out an enemy for several rounds. Doesn't work on some enemies or non-living enemies. If the sleeping enemy is left, the battle is won
Poison Dart - Poisons an enemy. Poision does 1/16 total HP every time an enemies turn comes up. Doesn't work on some enemies or non-living enemies
  • Frost - Weak ice magic
Stun Dart - Paralyzes one enemy. Paralyzed enemies have a chance of not being able to act when their turn comes up. Doesn't work on some enemies or non-living enemies
  • Snow - Stronger ice magic
  • Knife Rain - powerful projectile attack.
  • Cure Dart - increase HP of a party member
  • Blizzard - powerful ice magic


GIANT SQUID

Weapons: 'net Guns

AIN Prototype - starts with when he joins the group
Betagun - downloaded from Bill's house in Thassala
Squiddium Blaster - created after rescuing Squid. Damage/life gained by Squid'd life stealing attacks greatly increased
Corps 'Net Gun - final version of the AIN's internet weapon
UEC 'Net Gun - UEC heavy artillery weapon

Techs:

Download - use 'net gun to steal some enemy HP and adds it to GSquid's life
Blast - Powerful projectile attack
  • Spash - Weak water magic
Email - use 'net gun to steal some enemy HP and adds it to one party member that isn't GS's
  • Surf - stronger water attack
Squid - summones squid, 2-4 wrap, weak water magic

&GoZilla - use 'net gun to steal some enemy HP and adds it to GSquid's life

  • Tidal Wave - powerful water magic
Heal - heals one of bad status modifiers


LIGHTENING

Weapons: Clubs

Lightning club - starts with when he joins the group
Powerslam - found in the jails in 1500
Corps Club - powerful supression weapon of AIN police
Dome Club - created from a strong alloy by refugees

Techs:

  • Volt - weak lightning magic
  • Bolt - stronger lightning magic
Eonite Dust - increases magic/tech ability of a party member
Clubbing - 2-4 electric attack, weak power as one

&Hut drop - all enemy attack

  • Thunder - powerful lightning magic


LORDSTONE

Weapons: Wands (cast "Slam" as a basic attack)

1500 Wand - LordStone's wand in his home time
Eonite Wand - created from a shard of Eonite
UEC Wand - used by powerful UEC wizards

Techs:

&Thunder Storm - Strong all-enemy lightning magic &Forest Fire - Strong all-enemy fire magic &Tidal Wave - Strong all-enemy water magic &SuperQuake - Strong all-enemy earth magic

  • EleMagic - Strong enemy all-element magic
  • Ultima - Most powerful spell in the game. Non-elemental, so no resistance whatsoever


Damage calculator:

Magic:

Damage = ((AllyMagicPower * MagicLevel) + (random number 1-15) - EnemyMagicDefence) / targets
 Weakest magic level = 2
 Medium magic level = 4
 Strongest magic level = 8

Comments: Enemies can be strong against some magic and weak against others, so

choose your element wisely. ALL magic attacks can target one or all enemies.
Cure-type spells work like this where Damage = LifeGained.


Standard physical techs: (Twister, Knife Slash, etc):

Damage = ((AllyPhysicalAttack * Power) + (random number 1-5) - EnemyPyscialDefence)) / targets
 Standard power = 3
 Strong power = 5

Comments: Provide decient damage to targets without having to worry about

magic resistances


2-4 Type Attacks:

Damage = ((AllyPhysicalAttack) + (random number 1-5) - EnemyPysicalDefence)) * (random number 2-4)

Comments: Provide unstable amounts of damage, but are always more powerful then

normal attacks and can be more powerful then standard physical techs.


Ignore defence attacks:

Damage = ((AllyPhysicalAttack) + (random number 1-5)

Comments: Expensive to use against normal foes but infinitly useful against an

enemy with a high defence score.


HP Stealers:

Damage = ((EnemyHP * .2) + random number 1-10)
LifeGained = Damage*.85

Comments: Always do slightly over 20% damage to enemy, gaining nearly that much

life. Most effective against enemies with high life or at the begining of battle.


Stat modifiers (Curse, PSI Sharpen, etc)

Change = (Stat * (random number 6-9 * .1))

Comments: Lowers/raises stats between 10% and 40%. Effect lasts until end of

current battle or until target reaches 0 HP.


One-kit KO's

OddsofKO = EnemyImportance
 Normal enemy importance = 35%
 Boss importance = 5%

Comments: Unreliable, especially against bosses, these attacks destroy their target

in one hit if they connect.
