Character Information and Background
Bill comes from a famous political family that had been in control of the nation of the United Demesos and its colonies, including Tapfer, for quite a long time. His ancestors had invented the political system known as Demesos, uniting the shattered nation of Antya and giving it the strength to become a great power. Unfortuanatly, corruption, inept leadership, and diplomacy of a random rock lead the nation to ruin after the Flying Islands and Automatica invaded the nation, leaving the Dusch family to escape and form a government in exile in the former Demesosian colony of Tapfer. Bad luck continued to happen later on; after Tapfer merged into a new Audentior, Bill's Presidency shattered the nation back into pieces again. With Tapfer in shamples, his father's final effort to give the nation to Jasonia succeeded, allowing Bill Dusch to be raised in a time of prosperity.
Yet despite his patriotism for Tapfer and his pride in his family, Bill's own past is shrouded in mystery and conflict. Although he bears the name "Bill Dusch", he is at the very least adopted into the Dusch family. In the extreme-case scenario, Bill is not even his real first name. His level of training and skill seems to indicate that he has been alive far longer then his age shows. To further complicate these matters, Bill sometimes speaks of a place called "Earth" and something about "a quest against Pure Evil", but those that know Bill have learned to ignore these ramblings.
His father being the former President of Tapfer, and later the Speaker of Tapfer once it was annexed into the Flying Islands of Jasonia, Bill became the Speaker of Tapfer after his father retired. Bill became friends with the President of the nation, Jason Steffke. Bill invited Jason during the Hyperborean Fair to visit his brother Matt Dusch, who had a presentation for his newest invention, leading straight to the first Control of Destiny Campaign.
After the campaign ended and peace returned to the world, Bill helped found the town of Thassala as a refugee for remaining Tapferites to have an impact on the world.
Personality and Skills
Bill is almost Jason’s polar opposite. Jason is calm, collected, and patient, while Bill is hyper, energetic, and ready to do some damage! What Bill lacks in diplomacy he makes up in sheer optimistic energy, for he is always ready to lead the charge, no matter how dire the situation seems to be. While Jason’s leadership skills can keep the group from fighting, Bill’s enthusiasm empowers them to go out and go the distance. How those two manage to stay friends is the topic of some debate.
Bill is young but seems possess the sword skills of a master duelist. Bill makes an excellent frontline fighter, prepping himself for combat and then giving it his all. Although Bill does not possess the direct-damage fire spells that Jason commands, he can empower his blade to radiate fiery energy, making him an adaptive sword mage. After Bill's innate changes to electricity, he adapts to his new magic quickly, imbuing his sword with electrical energy even easier than he had with fire. Even when he becomes a Paladin, he adapts his holy powers easily to the sword and mixes it with his electric magic, making him a dangerous foe in both blade and mind.
By the time Bill's wife Amy and his son mysteriously dissapeared, Bill's personality changed. Becoming quite bitter at the world for taking away for those he loved, he lost his energetic attitude and became solemn and practical. He focused his energy in his Paladinhood, his last source of optimism, and became a Soloralist zealot after the religion was offically refounded.
Control of Destiny History
Bill in Control of Destiny 1
Bill was the source of optimism in the campaign. Whenever the team had lost hope, it was Bill who gave them the energy to continue. His habit of acting before thinking brings trouble to the team multiple times, but he made up for it with sheer dumb luck and excellent fighting skills. He got along very well with Jason, and fell in love with Amy Leonarkos; Jason and Amy fighting over the leadership of the team often torn him.

Bill in Jasonia: The Dark One
Elected High Judge, Bill was forced to declare his friend, Eric Light, guilty of robbery. An appeal of the case led him to travel to Kajar, where later investigations had shown that Eric was not acting in a sane matter at the time, reversing the decision. Curious about this, Bill met with Assassinite, who discovered that there was a source of evil seeping out of the City of the Sun which might have been the cause of the incident. This led Bill, Assassinite, and the now-free Eric to go to the President, Jason Steffke, to decide on how to investigate the matter. Unfortuanatly, after the seal to the City of the Sun was broken, Bill was possessed by Pure Evil, imprisoning his friends with the exception of Assassinite (who was also possessed) and took over the Flying Islands as a dictator. Performing mass atrocities on the native Jasonians, bringing out a perverse form of his former Tapferite patriotism, it was not until a liberation army, led by Jason Steffke, overthrew him. However, Bill was killed in the final battle; he was revived using the holy powers of the City of the Sun and Pure Evil purged from him. Bill led the final battle against Pure Evil in the Armory, which had become a portal to the Plane of Eclipse. In the final showdown, Jason and Bill formed an avatar of Pure Good to smite Pure Evil forever.

Trivia
Notable Equipment
- Bill's holy sword, the Einlanzer, was a gift from the former Avatar of Good. This sword rivals the Sun Sword in power, and has the power to annihilate evil quintessential energy which has corrupted the other quintessences. This makes the weapon the bane of Pure Evil.
- Bill’s clothing became THE adventuring outfit fad! Bill wears a blue shirt and pants with white slashes and a white hair tye. Later on, when Bill becomes a Paladin, he dons plate armor and a blue cloak, though he continues to wear his white hair type.
