Cumbria is a county in the United Kingdom. It is also home to the Lake District and the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway. A SIF member, A4Mallard also resides in the county.
It is famous for being connected to Sodor in various ways:
- It is literally connected to the Island of Sodor.
- It was the home of the Furness Railway and Edward.
- It was the place of birth of Skarloey and Rheneas.
- It is home to the Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, the real-life counterpart of the Arlesdale Railway.
