Save The Children Fund launched a site in Second Life called Yak Shack. The idea being that virtual world inhabitants can purchase an in-world virtual Yak, the profits from which will go towards the charity's Wish List campaign.

As a follow-up to the launch, a further event was held in which purchasers could return to the Yak Shack to enter a "customise your Yak" compteition.
