SLURLS are Second Life URLs - A means from outside Second Life of directing users to particular locations within the virtual world, or "location based linking within Second Life".

From outside Second Life, a SLURL looks just like a web site URL. Following the link, will bring up a SLURL web page, which contains the Second Life map, and a pointer to the desired location.
Clicking on the map location will launch Second Life (if it is not running already) and teleport your avatar to the desired location.
