Towel-headed Man

A mysterious spirit. Seeing one is usually a symptom of the Sadako Yamamura curse. He is a man with a white towel covering his head or face, pointing offscreen left in Sadako's tape, with what is probably water in the background. This is accompanied by a metallic squeaking, and the barely audible message "Shoumon bakkari shiteru to, boukon ga kuru zo", meaning "Frolic in brine, goblins be thine." This is based on an old Japanese legend that if young children played in the sea, a goblin would come and eat them.
On very rare occasion, a Towel-Headed Man will appear to those cursed by Sadako. Depending on the Man, he will point to something that will either save or kill the cursed person. If the cursed person is killed, their death will mimics the appearance of a death caused by a wellwraith; usually heart failure. Sometimes this results in that person coming back as a Towel-Headed Man. This, however, is a fairly new theory and has not occurred very often at all.
Three known Towel-Headed Men are:
