Samara Morgan Tape Symptoms
These symptoms are usually unique to Samara tapes.
- Automatic doodling, especially of ladders, horses, wells, circles, eyes, and Samara herself
- Animals acting strange around the cursed or appearing in strange places, especially horses or deer
- Images of Anna Morgan brushing her hair in a mirror
- Images of Anna Morgan jumping off a cliff into the ocean
- Images of a burning tree
- Dreams or illusions of ladders
- Dreams or illusions of Samara
- Burn marks on skin where dream/illusion Samara touched the cursed
- Hearing static, water dripping, wailing, or singing
- Water, maggots, flies, or long black hair appearing in strange places
- Seeing eyes in dark places
- Hearing or seeing unexplainable scratching
Sadako Yamamura Tape Symptoms
These symptoms are usually unique to Sadako tapes.
- Images of Mt. Mihara erupting
- Images of Shizuko Yamamura jumping into a volcano
- Images of Shizuka Yamamura brushing her hair in a mirror
- Strange instances of Japanese characters, especially "Sada"
- Images of Sadako
- Smelling old, or stale water
- Seeing the Towel-headed Man
- Burn marks on skin where dream/illusion Sadako touched the cursed
Eun-Suh Park Tape Symptoms
These symptoms are usually unique to Eun-Suh tapes.
- Images of a tsunami
- Seeing the Hangeul characters 'Eun-Suh'
