The Towel-Headed Man

A symptom of the Sadako Yamamura curse is that of seeing the THM or the Towel-Headed Man. He is a man with a white towel covering over his head pointing offscreen left in Sadako's tape, with probably water in the background, a metallic squeaking, and the barely audible message "Shoumon bakkari shiteru to, boukon ga kuru zo", meaning "Frolic in brine, goblins be thine." This is based on an old japanese legend that if young children played in the sea, a goblin would come and eat them. Often the Towel-Headed Man will appear to those cursed by Sadako, often pointing to something that will either save or kill them. If they are killed, they appear as though killed by Sadako, of heart failure, and become a Towel-Headed Man. This a fairly new theory though.
