Sometimes the effects of the tape can linger on the victim, but this is extremely uncommon. There are known 6 Japanese tapes, 6 American tapes, and 3 Korean tapes. Sadako and Samara both have a tape in the form of a music video. The Samara tape is her nensha's effect on Finnish singer Hanna Pakarinen's music video to her song, "Leave Me Alone".
