"Tape Cultists", often just referred to as "Cultists", is a term used to label those who are very sympathetic to the Wellwraiths, the tapes, or the curses. The "cultist" name comes from the religious-like devotion of many of these wraith-supporters. Indeed, many of the cultists see the wraiths as gods.
Behavior
Typically a tape cultist will often preach of the benefits of watching the cursed videos, and may even spread the tapes in huge amounts. Some allow themselves to die at the end of their seven days in order to be in the well with one of the wraiths for all eternity. Others may see the slow destruction of our world by the wraiths as something that simply must, or should, happen. And so they support this destruction in the name of the wraiths.
