DESCRIPTION

Viktor is a lean, athletic young man, appearing to be about 16 years of age. He stands out in a number of ways, most tellingly his crimson eyes(he says they are contacts), and his east european descent, which puts him a couple of inches above his classmates. His hair is black, and thick, lustrous, albeit short. He has a rather pale cast, but most dismiss that as his gaijin birth. He's rather handsome, and despite his foreign birth and imposing appearance, approachable and friendly. He has a light, carefree disposition, that makes him a rather unlikely suspect for being a bloodsucking undead beast. He has a strong loyalty to those he likes, is unafraid to express emotion, and fears little. Some would describe him as a tad stubborn and bullheaded, as he rarely gives up on something he has committed to. He prefers to solve problems with swift and decisive action, and is honest in most dealings. Viktor is a bit of a flirt, something he will deny only with a wink.

BACKGROUND

Viktor Alexandru Drazevny was born in 1707, in Transylvania, then under Austrian suzerainty. The young son of a Voivode, Viktor was born with privilege, in a time of change and progress. Transylvania, and the rest of Romania with it was djusting to rule under the Austrian house of Hapsburg, and the faith of the Greek Catholic Church was becoming widespread throughout the land. However, being a younger son, Viktor could not expect a position of rulership, which suited him fine. Viktor was a curious boy, outgoing, and wanted to see the world. He was greatly interested in the Western culture that was slowly but surely becoming integrated with the Hungarian and Transylvanian customs of the area.

At 14, Viktor was sent to Vienna, to learn at Herr Tepperman's Academie for Talented Youths. He learned etiquette, literature, politics, and theology, but what he trily excelled at was the art of the sword. His skill with a saber was prodigious, and this(perhaps aside from his classical good looks) attracted the attention of the Academy's mysterious proprietor, Herr Tepperman. Herr Tepperman was in fact the notoriously cruel Wallachian prince, Vlad the Third, the Impaler, and Son of the Dragon, known in Romanian as Dracula. He had since been transformed into a vampire, and had established the school in Vienna to create talented servants for unknown ends.

When Viktor was 16, Vlad transformed him into a vampire as well, so his sword would be at the dread prince's command for eternity.
