Tall and slender - almost looking malnourished - Rai is a pale slip of a girl; her clothes are always chosen to hide her near chalk-white skin, sunglasses worn even in the classroom - causing some frustration with teachers who question her. A modestly long-cut uniform during school, fine black fishnets under dark shirts and pants elsewhere. Her long white hair, reaching down almost to her waist, is usually worn free.
