Isao

From Shadow Academy

  • 01. Isao learned his love of riding from his mother, who was herself a bosozoku prior to settling down with his father. She used her bike to get around to run errands, often taking an exceptionally strapped in young Isao with her.
  • 02. Isao's favorite color is green. He isn't fond of neon red, due to it's association with alarm clocks.
  • 03. He actually is deeply appreciative of nature, as his father was an outdoorsman and loved to take him camping as a child. Of course, he doesn't know crap about the great outdoors, but will often spend Greenery Day out riding his bike out in the country.
  • 04. Despite the fact that he and his landlord don't see eye to eye, Isao gets a discount on his rent because he's jury-rigged the entire building to have free cable.
  • 05. Isao has a rollodex from his parents, that has all his relatives and their coworkers in it. He keeps it hidden in the back of his stuff, and attempts to work up the nerve to call one of them.
  • 06. Even if he's dated quite a few girls (and actually slept around a bit), Isao's never had a relationship last more than a month. He's not really mature enough to make relationships work, yet.
  • 07. Having watched a ton of action movies and played entirely too many video games, Isao loves the idea of guns. He doesn't realize his own natural apititude, but does buy magazines about them along with his more standard, gear-headed interests. Granted, most of these are in English, meaning he cannot read them, but he does like the pictures and schematics.
  • 08. Isao's natural weakness is oyakodon; it's easy enough for him to make or acquire to where he can eat it commonly enough. After a bad run-in with food poisoning, however, Isao only buys it from resteraunts if he doesn't make it himself.
  • 09. Despite living in poverty, Isao will put his bike's maintenance above his own well-being.
  • 10. Isao has a cat living in his apartment. It was there when he got the apartment. He doesn't consider it his cat, and the cat doesn't consider him his owner, from it's behavior. Still, he feeds it, and it seems to have a fondness for watching the television.
