Q: What is Safehaus?
A: Safehaus is a freeform, post-apocalyptic role playing game.

Q: What do you mean, "freeform"?
A: This means that there are no dice rolled at any time, even when there would be in a normal game of RPG that covers this subject matter.

Q: Who's in charge?
A: Nobody. There are moderators on the channel, and administrators in the wiki, but everything else is mob rule - if people don't like it or it doesn't work with the setting, let one another know.

Q: How does the setting work?
A: Given as there isn't a basis for this game, the setting has been largely invented as people go. Information will be provided on the setting page, for people to play off of with one another.

Q: I have a great idea for something to add to the setting.
A: That isn't a question.

Q: OK, smart ass. How do I add my great idea to the setting?
A: Better! In order to add to the setting, please follow these easy steps:

  1. Check the setting page, and ask yourself the following:
    1. Does this idea make sense within the setting? If it doesn't, then it shouldn't be added without revisions.
    2. Is there something else in the setting that would easily cover this idea? If so, simply play with that.
    3. Does the idea invalidate, distort, or vastly change something within the setting? If so, check with the other players involved with that element first.
  2. Write-up the element you wish to add. Please add as much information as possible. Be clear; people will be revising and adding things on to this, as well as building characters involved in these factions.
  3. Profit!

Q: What's with the "haus" bit? Shouldn't it be called Safehouse?
A: Safehaus, like Teahaus and Deadhaus before it, is a hub for games - they provide a setting for multiple things. As this game was built in the same vein as the other two, we thought it only proper to carry on the naming trend.

Q: What if I still have questions?
A: Then ask them on the Discussion page, and we'll get to them as soon as possible!
