What is academic integrity?
From the RSGC senior student agenda:
Academic integrity is at the heart of the teaching-learning process. Students are expected to make a sincere and honest effort in all areas of study. Students must accept responsibility for their own work. Examples of academic dishonest include: plagiarism - submitting the work of others as one's own, using in an assignment ideas or data copied or paraphrased without acknowledgment of the source - cheating on tests and examinations, or providing work to someone else to use as his own. The School will not tolerate any form of academic dishonesty. Students who are found to be dishonest will be subject to disciplinary action as follows: receipt of zero on the assignment, project, test, or examination, notification of parents and other consequences deemed necessary in consultation with the teacher and the Head of the Senior School. The same assignment may not be handed in for more than one course.
