The grade 4 class is participating in this year's Silver Birch Reading Program sponsored by the Ontario Library Association. Students will read a minimum of five books from non-fiction and fiction reading lists by late April. On April 26 students will vote for their favourite book. The titles that receive the most vote across the province will receive the Silver Birch Award, presented at Harbourfront in May.
